This community shopping mall proposal attempts  urban regeneration by taking an underused area, and overhauling it with multiple points of interest that would not only bring life back to the area but also generate revenue for the local authority, the Dubai Municipality.

The proposed retail centre is scaled to be community mall with the catchment area restricted to the immediate surroundings. Designed in the traditional style (as requested by the Client), the centre is topped by an original wooden dhow that also doubles up as a speciality restaurant.
